OnePlus 8 Pro sold out again in India after a few minutes

Apparently, the OnePlus 8 Pro stocks in India can be completely depleted in just a glimpse of eyes. Amazon India and the OnePlus Online store made the flagship briefly available online, however, it just took a few minutes to be sold out again. The smartphone was available on both websites, which have since hung up “out of stock” signs. The OnePlus 8 Pro is available at INR 55,000 ($728) for the model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of Internal Storage. The variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of Storage set you back INR 60,000 ($795). Users paying for the most high-end version will have the exclusive Ultramarine Blue color to choose, while the other two hues – Onyx Black and Glacial Green – can be had with either storage capacity. In India, the company is offering some incentives for potential customers. If you pay with an SBI card or use an EMI transaction, there is an INR 3,000 discount. Carrier Jio offered benefits “worth INR 6,000”. However, these benefits were actually broken up in 40 installments of discount coupons. This sale was only for the OnePlus 8 Pro model. For the vanilla OnePlus 8 variant, the company will be selling it on June 29. Actually, both the Vanilla and the Pro models will be back on sale at 12 noon local time. We are curious to see if the vanilla variant will have a similar performance to the Pro variant. Worth noting that currently, the Indian variants are the cheapest ones. In the rest of the globe, OnePlus 8 is more expensive. OnePlus Read More…

OnePlus 8 Pro camera is able to see through clothes and some plastics 2

OnePlus 8 Pro camera is able to see through clothes and some plastics

The OnePlus 8 Pro has a camera sensor with a special color filter creating an inverted color effect. It is also able to see through transparent infrared materials. Primarily intended for landscape and greenery photos, the sensor gives a special character to shots without going through a software filter.
It also appears that this sensor makes it possible to see through transparent infrared plastic materials, in the same way as infrared sensors of cameras and camcorders (for night vision, for example).

— Marques Brownlee (@MKBHD) May 13, 2020 Over the last few hours, social networks have been flooded with photographs that show how this camera is able to see through some objects, including clothes and some fine plastic. The camera is also capable of “seeing” through some types of fabric, and therefore it is possible to take a look at what is under the clothes to a certain extent. OnePlus 8 series “limited release” sells out in ten minutes

A few days ago, Chinese manufacturing giant, OnePlus, officially announced the OnePlus 8 series. It appears that OnePlus did a test run of the OP8 series sales by organizing a “limited release” sales. This sale lasted for 10 minutes before all colour variants and storage options for both the OnePlus 8 and OP8 Pro sold out. Although this looks like a quick sale, it is quite slow considering that flagships from some manufacturers sell out in seconds. Also, this is a “limited release” thus it is probable that the company sold only a few units. The first full-scale sales of the OnePlus 8 series will take place in about two weeks. These smartphones will be available via OnePlus online store, T-Mobile and Verizon. Recall that OnePlus is facing huge criticism for its pricing of the OnePlus 8 series. The prices are not higher than what we have in the market, but many feel that OnePlus has increased its pricing structure. See the prices of the OnePlus 8 series below OnePlus 8 (8 + 128GB) – $699
