Beta participants can choose modes such as Moving Crowd, Light Painting, Starry Sky, Silky Water, Star Trails and Neon Trails. They will allow you to take spectacular shots with different scenarios. The first users claim that the results are very interesting.
Since the phone must be motionless when shooting at high shutter speed to get a good result, the need to use a tripod is also mentioned in the description of the modes. At this stage, we do not know on which Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco smartphones these modes will work. In the beta version, they are available, in particular, on the Poco F2 Pro smartphone. This smartphone comes also under the Redmi K30 Pro moniker.
The updated camera application has become one of the few MIUI 12 applications that have received the most new features. Redmi K30 Ultra is coming – to use a MediaTek chip & 64MP quad-rear camera

Since the independence of the Redmi brand from Xiaomi, this brand has been releasing some interesting smartphones. Initially, the Redmi brand was positioned as an entry-level to mid-range brand while Xiaomi focuses on its flagships. However, with the advent of the Redmi K series, some of its devices easily fit in the flagship category. Interestingly, this Redmi K series only have the “30” for now. We have the Redmi K30 (4G & 5G versions), Redmi K30 Pro, Redmi K30 5G Racing Edition, and the Redmi K30i 5G. All these smartphones including the 4G & 5G version of the K30 have some differences.  Now, a recent report from XDA-Developers claims that the Redmi K30 Ultra could be on its way. According to the report, this smartphone comes with the code name “cezanne”. XDA found this product and its code name in the latest version of the MIUI 12 code. The code also shows that the smartphone will be equipped with a rear four-camera module. Furthermore, the main camera is a 64MP sensor and it may adopt a pop-up front camera. In addition, the report also pointed out that this smartphone will come with a MediaTek processor. Well, Xiaomi has been quite comfortable with the MediaTek Dimensity 5G series. Thus, this is not entirely a surprise. However, none of the Redmi K-series phones in China uses a MediaTek processor. If this is the case, this will be the first K-series phone to use a MediaTek chip.

Xiaomi 120W charger has now passed 3C certification 9

Xiaomi 120W charger has now passed 3C certification

With the preponderance of 5G devices, there is a need to increase the power of smartphones. One way to increase power is to increase the battery capacity. However, this is not always feasible because it has its own shortcomings. Another way is to increase the fast charge capacity which seems to be more favored presently. Information on the Chinese 3C certification website shows a Xiaomi 120W charger (power adapter). This device comes with model number MDY-12-ED. The first certification date is June 28 while the manufacturer is Xiaomi Communication Technology Co., Ltd. The certification information shows that this power adapter supports a fast-charging protocol of up to 120W (20V 6A). However, it also mentions that it is only suitable for altitudes of 5000 meters and below. With this certification, it appears that Xiaomi is getting closer to releasing this device. However, we still do not know the smartphone that will launch this charger. Xiaomi 120W charger – racing to the finish line
When there is a limit to the battery capacity that a device can take, fast charging becomes an option. Since 2018, mobile phone fast charging has gradually increased from 18W to 40W and even higher to 65W. This year, we expect that the fast charging capacity of mobile devices will hit 100W
Well, Oppo has been on top of its game when it comes to fast charging technology. Thus, the general expectation is that Oppo will arrive first. However, in the first half of 2019, XiaomiRead More…

Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro scores 83 points on DXOMARK selfie rating 10

Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro scores 83 points on DXOMARK selfie rating

Back in February, Chinese manufacturing giant, Xiaomi, announced the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro 5G flagship smartphone. This smartphone comes with top-notch quad-rear camera setup. It even uses the flagship 108MP sensor. However, its recent assessment of its selfie camera by DxOMark is disappointing. According to DxOMark, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro scores 83 points on its selfie evaluation. This places the smartphone in the middle of its ranking table. It is actually on the same level as “mid-rangers like the Samsung Galaxy A71”. The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro comes with a 20MP 1/3-inch sensor with 0.9µm pixels, fixed -focus, and f/2.0-aperture lens. It also supports 1080p/30fps video recording. This smartphone is capable of capturing decent selfie shots. However, its limited dynamic range will produce high-light cut textures in high-contrast scenes. Here is DxOMark’s conclusion “The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro is one of the best devices we have tested for rear camera quality, but unfortunately, the selfie camera cannot quite keep up. It will do the job for anyone who wants to post the occasional selfie shot or video on social media and who isn’t too concerned about the lack of dynamic range or the ineffective stabilization system. However, if you are a vlogger or simply want high-quality front camera images and videos, better alternatives are available in the Xiaomi’s price bracket”. Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro specifications
